About Ian Webster

I am currently working as UK Accounts Manager for the Athletic Group , providing staging, truss and stands to the events and retail market.Before this I was UK Sales Manager for Eventshop.UK - Supplier of Event equipment for the Film, TV and Events Sector. Primarily providing ground support for events, from Staging to Fencing, Floor coverings to communications equipment and more. Previously I was Operations Manager for Premier Screen Printing - a large UK trade printing firm offering screen and DTG printing services to trade garment and merchandise suppliers. Working or improving the business operation in terms of processes and improving services. Internal projects include creation of business website, and working towards ISO9001 certification. Previously I was Key Account Manager for ADJ UK supporting customers across the UK and Europe for ADJ products.Before this I worked for the Switchover Helpscheme, Assisting older and disabled people with the switch to digital TV. As Mobile Events Team Leader I was responsible for 2 Mobile Events units, working across the UK to assist customers at public events. I previously have over 7 years experience working in the Marketing department for Motorola Ltd, and have experience in areas of sales, event management, training and marketing, working at both retail and corporate level. My channel Marketing role involved looking after 3 large UK customers working within their business to promote our products. As part of the role I worked on training, staff incentives, internal communications, and integration of Motorola’s UK marketing campaign with their own. I also ensured that Motorola’s brand guidelines were adhered to through the customers communications, whether through press, mail, or online.One of my main responsibilities was to work with BT on the marketing of Fusion, a new mobile technology, working with both consumer channels and B2B channels to develop sales potential.I have great experience of working closely with both agencies and internal marketing teams to deliver campaigns to clients, and work hard to achieve great results. This includes delivery of internal and external communications, as well as POS development and placement.I am a loyal, hard working and focused team player, and am very flexible in my work. I have always approached my roles within Motorola positively, and this has helped me create close working relationships with both my customers and internal teams.
