Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications infrastructure, including cabling, while providing technical support as needed. Manage all adds, moves, changes, and deletions for systems and equipment. Provide escalation support for all Marriott-approved technology solutions, such as mobility devices and GPNS, and assist with the Request Center Processes. Offer troubleshooting and guidance to properties regarding guest and associate internet access needs, escalating issues as required to direct supervisors, IT Field Managers, or Desktop Support teams. Collaborate with IT Field teams and Marriott IT resources for issue resolution.Responsible for imaging desktops, installing software, applying patches, and mapping drives to the appropriate network or server. Handle the movement and setup of PCs and peripherals, including data migration when necessary. Perform scheduled or ad-hoc desktop backups and provide end-user support. Ensure that technology security measures, such as encryption and patch deployment, are implemented and maintained, as well as ensuring compliance with technology policies like Quarterly IT Audits and MAARK2.Support and maintain the unit’s infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, and access points, and engage with MI IT or vendor resources as needed. Assist in creating and maintaining a secure server environment, performing routine server backups and preventive maintenance tasks.
