I have a Masters in Science degree in Clinical psychology and am Enrolled in University of Edinburgh for MSc Mental Health in Children and Young people. I have a Diploma in therapeutic counselling from CPCAB, UK , (I am working towards an Advanced Diploma in Counselling) I also have training in CBT (cognitive behaviour Therapy ) from the Beck institute USA, I am a certified mindfulness coach, have diplomas in challenging behaviour in children, DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) ,NLP (Neuro linguists programming ) and Hypnotherapy from UK and a certificate in the Science of Well Being from Yale University, USA . Currently I am a Coordinator and trainee facilitator for Integrative Complexity-IC Thinking Cambridge , UK (an experiential course promoting critical thinking in adolescents from Cambridge University developed by the wonderful Dr Sara Savage with whom I am training) for SWAaT for Pakistan (an NPO headed by the leading psychologist of Pakistan Dr Feriha. N Peracha) and am invested in continuing to learn even more! I also like writing about psychological issues and helping people through my writing- As my qualifications suggest I use a variety of counseling methods & principles in order to create a treatment plan that improves your mental health & well-being. I believe in an eclectic approach because as Jung points out “the shoe that fits one person , pinches another “ , I believe in individualism but also the universality of human experience .
