I graduated in August 2024 with a BEng. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, supported by the PETRONAS Education Sponsorship Program (PESP). My academic journey was complemented by a rewarding internship at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. - Sarawak Asset, where I worked in the Wells Integrity & Services Department from January 2023 to August 2023. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in the oil and gas industry, gaining exposure to both onshore and offshore operations.During my internship, I actively contributed to various offshore operations, particularly in preventive and corrective maintenance. My responsibilities included handling pre-mobilization documentation, managing licensing and certifications, conducting job hazard analyses, and inspecting equipment in Miri, Sarawak and Labuan. These experiences not only enhanced my technical skills but also honed my ability to adapt and excel in dynamic and challenging environments.
