When starting at Old Thorns, I was originally the Health Cub Receptionist. My main roles were keeping on top of cleaning duties, pool tests, dealing with members and hotel guests, replying to general emails and phone calls. After 6/7 months of doing this role, I started to focus more on the membership side of things. Each month I would have to set the Direct debit run for all direct debit paying members, reply to membership enquires, book people in for show rounds, any cancellations or general membership updates.

My main role as a Sales Assistant was helping customers find what they were after and give them any further advice. At the end of each day, it was my job to cash up both the tills, making sure we have the money that we were expecting with the correct float in each till. I also took charge of the Visual merchandising team, making sure the store was up to date with the latest trends.
