Joined Aurizon through their acquisition of One Rail Australia

I undertook an internship with the Australian Rail Track Corporation where I was responsible for undertaking 3D point cloud surveys of wayside structures and the assessment of structural clearances for rail traffic. In this role I extensively used Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCAD and GEDO Scan. The position was initially a 20-week full time placement, but this was extended to 6 months. I then continued for a further 5 months part time while studying at university.

I worked at Biga Café as a kitchen hand where my main role was to clean and maintain dishes, I was also involved in some food preparation. This position taught me how to operate in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high standard and attention to detail.

I worked as a laboratory assistant for Topline Paint where my role involved undertaking quality control assessments on new batches of paint, adjusting the batches to meet specifications, and maintaining an historical record of every batch.
