For the last 14 years I have been working at Kount, a fraud protection company. My primary focus the last 14 years has been providing technical leadership for teams in R&D of new technologies real time, scalable, high performance SaaS microservices which collect process and evaluate vast amounts of information in real-time/near real-time, re-evaluating current strategies with metrics and monitoring, as well as releasing new products for the company that handle an assortment of fraud (things like credit card fraud, account takeover, account sharing, etc…). Most of this resides in the cloud, but there are still company owned datacenters both internally and with clients we also integrate with.Specialties: I have a good grasp of IT in general and am very experienced in many forms of architecture,integration including B2B, B2C, workforce automation, systems integrations, client/server applications, SaaS, large multi-user environments, cloud based services, security and compliance, and migration from legacy systems and code. I have considerable experience in building fast, scalable solutions for the SaaS environments using micro services and cloud based solutions. I have been writing software and solving hard problems in the tech industry for over 30 years.Furthermore, I tend to look for places where I can use my skills to help the world suck a little less.
