Insight is an intensive 7-week fellowship that bridges the gap between academia and careers in data science & data engineering. • Developed StyleSearch, a web application that enables users to find related Etsy products from uploaded images using computer vision and deep learning.• Extracted, stored, and parsed 15k+ items tagged as 'clothing' from 2.8M+ archival Etsy listings in a Numpy array.• Processed product images through the VGG16 neural network in Python using Keras and TensorFlow, compared to the uploaded image using cosine similarity, and sorted items by similarity in Pandas data frame.• Developed StyleSearch's interactive front-end with Flask, Bootstrap, and AWS.
