Manage the implementation of the Mill Hill Neighborhood Cultural Planning Process in cooperation with Macon Art Alliance, Creative Community Builders, neighborhood residents, local artists, and other community stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include:• Oversee the creation of the Creative Asset Map• Support and develop collaborative partnerships between all stakeholders• Oversee the creation of a Neighborhood Cultural Plan• Evaluate and report on progress and challenges in the roll-out of the Mill Hill project internally and externally to funders and other partners• Ensure compliance with all requirements of funders• Work as a liaison to the Mill Hill Artistic Advisory Committee

· Serve as a supporting agent to the College Hill Corridor Commission, as well as other organizations and individuals working to complete the goals of the College Hill Corridor Master Plan.· Maintain existing and establish new connections between Mercer University, residents of the College Hill Corridor, business owners, visitors, government officials, and community groups by attending local meetings and events. These include neighborhood association meetings, Macon-Bibb County Commission meetings, press conferences, community social events, concerts, as well as various board and public meetings, etc.· Coordinate marketing and consistent branding in partnership with the College Hill Corridor Commission for College Hill initiatives, and Master Plan projects. Specific focus areas include attracting prospective students, young professionals, tourists and families to live, work and play in the College Hill Corridor.· Provide logistical support to relevant new and on-going initiatives in College Hill.· Steward the Macon Made brand and movement. Continue existing outreach efforts to untapped local businesses. Foster business-to-business and business-to-resource networking. Use Macon Made branding, products, and services to promote a sense of pride in Macon.

· Created, organized, and executed various community events, including concerts, seasonal festivals, workshops, outdoor movie screenings, “maker” events, group bike rides, area tours, and other events in support of economic development and neighborhood revitalization.· Implemented programs designed to provide access to cultural and economic assets in Macon’s Urban Core, including those which assist with the establishment of neighborhood associations and community advocacy groups, connect college students to social and professional opportunities and offer small business support. · Marketed events and initiatives using social media, press releases, websites, videos, blogs, print and digital reports, as well as person-to-person interactions.· Managed various public infrastructure projects, including the restoration of pathways and entrances within historic Tattnall Square Park, sidewalk repairs, and the installation of way-finding signage and map kiosks throughout the College Hill Corridor area.· Served as a strategic budget secretary, coordinating accounts payable and advising on costs/benefits of various project initiatives for a $2.3 million budget.· Built and maintained a small business startup resource website, StartupMacon.info.
