• Upload timecards in the payroll system • Make any necessary adjustments• Process daily and weekly payroll • Review and/or reconcile monthly billing from clients• Answer Multi-Line Telephone• Complete telephone references for new hires• Answer any payroll questions or concerns from employees by email, telephone or in-person• Clerical duties when necessary

•Conduct recruitment for Certified Nursing Assistants, Dietary Department, Activities and Clerical. •Conduct background checks in accordance with state and federal regulations • Implement and maintain personnel files, including I-9 employment eligibility verification • Monitor eligibility for medical, dental, life insurance, 401k and COBRA. • Conduct orientation for all new hire employees. • Coach and counsel employees and/or managers on policy, procedures, and guidelines• Consult employees and/or management with personal/professional complaints or concerns • Monitor unemployment claims, and assist with appeals • Procedures governing payroll function• Monitor performance appraisal program

• Assist in recruitment for Activities, Clerical Department and Collective Bargaining Unit (Certified Nursing Assistants, and Dietary Department). • Conduct background checks in accordance with state and federal regulations • Implement and maintain personnel files, including I-9 employment eligibility verification • Monitor eligibility for medical, dental, life insurance, 403B and COBRA. • Conduct orientation for new hire employees. • Coach and counsel employees and/or managers on policy, procedures, and guidelines• Consult employees and/or management with personal/professional complaints or concerns • Monitor unemployment claims, and assist with appeals • Implement policies and procedures governing payroll function• Transmit payroll for an average of 160 employees• Monitor performance appraisal program • Coordinate retention activities• Participate in Safety Committee
