Provide technical support, troubleshooting, repair, and configuration for staff and student workstations and peripheral devices, and perform complete network upgrade with minimum interruption of productivity.Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and configure operating systems including Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP Pro, Vista, Server 2003 (active directory), Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook (exchange server), and AVG, Symantec, ESET Smart Security, McAfee, and Norton anti-virus software in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Maintain various hardware including HP DesignJet 800 and t1100, LaserJet 1320, 4200n, color 4600dn, Dell Optiplex GX260 – 760, Dell LCD Projectors, Heathkit Lab Machines, 5 gas analyzers, auto dynamometers, and electronic diagnostic tools to ensure optimum operation.Design/implement a Cisco networking lab utilizing multiple Cisco 2600 routers and 2950 switches; including configuring routers and switches for subnets, VLAN, and running RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP communication protocols; WAN connectivity using Frame Relay, PPP and ISDN; and networking security using access-list, NAT and PAT.Provide system administration support providing desktop support; PC repair; routine and non-routine maintenance utilizing Track-It Ticketing System.Ensure Network Security by managing, creating and resetting user account access through Active Directory.Work closely with faculty, staff and IT department to gain a strong understanding of the environment and technical needs.
