In this position, I assist store managers and assistant managers in the operations side of the store (returns, receiving, transfers, etc.). I help provide any coaching to store associates when needed. Other tasks include but aren’t limited to: ensuring customer service is top notch, inventory control, and meeting Rally House’s merchandise visual standards. I was sent to Dallas in late October to help out hot markets for the Rangers World Series run. I have also worked during the busy season of Christmas, the Chiefs Super Bowl run, the Men’s and Women’s Big 12 Tournament and the NCAA Wrestling National Championships.

In this position I caried out various duties throughout a gameday. During pregame, I was tasked with checking in pre-game participants such as: National Anthems, First Pitches, and Color Guard. Each game I was assigned a different participant to be in charge of and ensure everything goes off without issues. During select games I was assigned to assist our pregame host with microphone testing and getting various items for his segments. During the game my assignments included anything from continuing to help our host with microphones to our various in-game entertainment segments like Kids Steal a Base and the Hot Dog Derby. I worked various big events at the stadium like Opening Day, multiple college nights, the Big Slick Charity Softball Game, Bo Jackson's Royals Hall of Fame induction, the 2014 World Series Team Reunion, and two American League Divisional Series Playoff games.

In this position, I facilitated and carried out various on-field in-between inning games on the field. I also helped fans with any questions about out ballpark. I worked with the production team before to help run the scoreboard for multiple games when assigned. In select games, I ran the social media accounts doing but not limited to live tweets, highlights, and Instagram stories. I worked at non-Monarchs game events such as the MVS Softball Game and the Savannah Banana game. When tasked, I helped out with marketing for various non-Monarchs game events.

I handled residential mail, sorting incoming and delivering outgoing daily. I greeted visitors and potential new residents. Provided directions and answers to questions.

In this position, I scouted sponsorships through digital platforms, television, and venue sites. I captured the sponsor on the platform and uploaded it to the ProTool used by many companies to learn about different sponsors. The companies use the data from the ProTool to acquire new sponsors and view who sponsors who.

In this position I helped monitor and run the sport management emphasis area social media accounts. Along with that, I created various graphics and other marketing tools for the social media accounts.

In this position, I was assigned an MLB or MILB game to time the pitchers. I watched the clips when there is a runner on base and time five different categories. Those being when the pitcher comes set, when his first move occurs, when his front leg moves, when he releases the ball, and when the ball makes contact with the glove or a bat. I also timed the pitcher's throw-over sequence. We use the software provided by Inside Edge to plot this data. The valuable data we plot is given to Major League clubs for their use.

Worked as a ticket taker for some events and an usher for others. I ensured that any attending fans' needs were met and answered any questions they may have regarding the events. At the beginning of working this job, it was during the mask mandates at events and had to ensure guest health and safety were met.

Throughout this role, I handed out any pregame promotional items to fans before games, or I worked signing people up for various on-field events. A couple of times throughout the season I worked in the box office pregame helping sell tickets and hand out tickets. Once the game began my promotions group and I helped set up the in-between inning games and made sure the kids and/or adults were ready to participate. For various games, I spoke on the microphone about the game we were doing. After games, I would help hand out coupons and other prizes to fans as they left the stadium.
