A highly logical and determined data and software professional, who enjoys finding creative solutions to problems in high pressure situations. I have a drive for utilising technology for worthwhile causes that have a positive impact on people's lives. I have experience using a variety of programming languages, being most proficient in: Python, C#/.NET C++. I have worked on both modern and legacy tech stacks, and have been heavily involved in the full software development life cycle: from system design, to feature specifications, testing & deployments. I also have experience in machine learning, data engineering and data analysis having used tools such as DBT & scikit learn throughout my career; and also developed a number of data pipeline and analysis frameworks and tools.I have mentored a number of colleagues of different backgrounds in getting up to speed with software engineering, introducing them to Git & Version Control, OOP fundamentals, code cleanliness and structure amongst others. I am able to communicate effectively to my team whether that be in calls or on PR reviews.I have experience leading teams, and have spearheaded a number of projects. For example I developed a Python data pipelining framework to be used by a team of data analysts.
