After graduating from Loughborough University I joined a small IT firm in Whitby, offering IT support and sales as well as website design and development. This lead to me establishing my own business in January 2010, which I ran successfully for over 11 years. During this time I continued to support Whitby's small businesses with cost-effective and friendly website design and marketing support.Whilst I was running my own business I got to know James and the team at Nature's Laboratory. Then, in January 2021, James asked my if I'd like to join Nature's Laboratory full time. We agreed to bring our two businesses together, ensuring that I could continue to support my existing website clients, and in April 2021 I became responsible for IT and marketing at Nature's Laboratory.Nature's Laboratory has undergone a period of transition, with key members of the team moving on to new ventures during 2022. This opened a door for me to take on more responsibility, formally becoming Managing Director in September 2022.Together with my colleagues we're creating innovative solutions in the natural health sector. We're developing innovative technology, undertaking extensive scientific research and exploring new ways of working. I'm enjoying the breadth of work that I'm currently involved in, and pleased to be able to use my skills and experience in IT, software and marketing to help develop the business working alongside other talented team members.
