Working as part of the management team at the West Bridgford branch of CRUK I am responsible for helping the shop achieve it's core targets. We are currently the number one shop in the region for turn over and profit and have exceptional levels of year on year growth. My role is varied and fast paced and involves training, instructing and managing volunteers to help around the shop as well as taking responsibility myself for a number of tasks to ensure maximum profitability. These include processing and pricing stock, keeping an eye on trends and pricing within the fashion industry, using a vast knowledge of fashion and the charity shop industry to ensure correct pricing and paying attention to detail to ensure the shop layout is primed for sales. Surplus to this I also have responsibility for health and safety in a busy and changeable working environment.
