Full time Defense Budget intern for Senior Fellow Mackenzie Eaglen and Non Resident Senior Fellow John Ferrari at the American Enterprise Institute. Collected and organized data from Department of Defense budgets and various defense budget documents needed for the scholars articles and reports. Tracked Defense Department spending patterns and compared them to National Security Strategy concerns and requests. Wrote briefs regarding current events and edited various reports and Op-Eds ranging from Australian Security issues to threats posed by the Chinese military. Worked with another intern on a long term project regarding the Valley of Death in the DoD's acquisition process.

Coding information regarding members of India's colonial legislature from 1919 to 1946 to help find links between expansion of suffrage and legislation within the legislature.

Full time legislative intern for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin. Performed assignments for legislative assistants including researching legislation, taking notes on hearings, and writing memos for the Congresswoman. Operated the office phone line taking constituent calls and inputing the data into IQ, a computer program for collecting constituent data.

Coded Department of Justice Press Releases and analyzed local police departments under investigation to help find links between their procurement of military grade equipment and misconduct.
