Jack Beeney Email and Phone Number
Currently after 7 years of starting my career in engineering I have an NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering and manufacturing to which has led me to be able to design, programme and manufacture precision parts for a wide range of customers being Automation, aerospace and the Marine industry. As a machinist i like to set myself challenges and overcome them as I believe it makes me and anyone a better engineer and the wanting to learn more daily to excel myself. The work I like to dive myself into are intricate parts primarily on 5-Axis machines which keeps my concentration at maximum, finding new ways of machining and keeping lead times low whilst maintaining high accuracy.

Mechanical Engineer ApprenticePhoenix Tooling & Development Ltd May 2017 - Oct 2019Gilingham,KentI started my apprenticeship at Phoenix straight after I left school as I was given the opportunity through connections at Greenacre Academy that obtained the apprenticeship from Phoenix tooling. My Engineering teachers were approached and asked if any students would be interested in an apprenticeship. I was offered the position and I accepted. Once started I was learning the job aswell as going to college one day a week, the course was for a “Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Mechanical Manufacturing” as well as a “Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering - CNC Machining”. The course time was for 3 years but I managed to complete within 2 years because I applied myself and learnt quickly. Throughout the time period at Phoenix Tooling I was mentored and trained to operate to then eventually setting jobs and tools for mainly a Mazak i500 (5-Axis) . Then leading to understanding the making of fixtures for the different types and complexity of holding jobs.
