With over 28 years of experience in the private sector, public sector and not-for-profit, I am a seasoned business leader with a strong background in finance, marketing, sales and strategy, but with a passion for a mission-focused opportunity I am the CEO and shareholder of EDMAR Chemical Company, a manufacturer of infection control products for the institutional and healthcare industries.Previously I was the CEO of LifeAct, a not-for-profit organization that provides mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs to school districts. I have also served 14 years as an elected public official in The Village of South Russell, OhioI am driven by a mission to create value for my customers, stakeholders, and communities, and to make a positive impact on the world through innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility. I have established and maintained long-term relationships with private-label distributors in North America and internationally, and I have expanded the company's market share and revenue. As the CEO of LifeAct, I manage the strategic direction, fundraising, and outreach of the organization, and I ensure the delivery and evaluation of the in-class curriculum on mental health awareness. I have increased the number of students served by the organization from 9,000 to 48,000 per year, and I have raised awareness and support for mental health issues among educators, parents, and policymakers.
