With 20+ years’ experience in senior and executive leadership roles in QBE Insurance Group and Westpac Group, across a range of functions, I have developed a track record of supporting senior leaders, C-suite leaders and key decision makers in ensuring high quality deliverables and outcomes.My roles have involved operating within APRA regulated financial services businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies and industry best practices. To support this, I have attained various certifications with Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) e.g. Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC). I also attained a Certificate IV in Compliance Management Associate Intensive with Governance, Risk & Compliance Institute (GRCI) and a Diploma in Applied Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorism Financing Management with Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA).I bring strength in strategic planning and execution, analytical thinking and problem solving, as well as the ability to address complex challenges. An example of this is when I established a first time Mortgage Book Remediation function. This involved building and delivering mortgage sales remediation capabilities, including strategy, plans, resource capacity and capability, policies, standards, processes, governance, and systems to consistently deliver customer mortgage remediation investigations and outcomes in accordance with Westpac’s approved lending policies.I am excited to bring my analytical thinking style, highly collaborative approach and strategic planning skills to my next challenging role.
