Jack joined Transware\​Welocalize in 2006 as a Project Manager and later as a Senior PM. His role was to manage localisation and development projects from STP to final client delivery. This involved overseeing all aspects of the account and liaising with numerous client side PM’s to ensure and maintain client satisfaction.Prior to this Jack worked in the eLearning industry as a Simulation Developer, Team Lead and a Visual Design Review Manager. During this time he developed his knowledge and skill of web based products and solutions. In early 2005 Jack joined SDL as a Resource ManagerHere Jack managed a large website solution contract with a major client (blue chip).This involved managing a team of (15+) developers and overseeing all aspects of the contract from initiation to client delivery. Jack also created and developed an internal application to manage and track all timesheet information and project financials. Jack has over 15 years’ experience in the localisation industry and has a very strong technical background and can quickly assimilate new technologies and concepts. He has a proven track record running complex projects meeting project & quarter end deadlines resulting in substantial actual €/$ savings working with both external suppliers, internal teams and clients. He has excellent attention to detail and is a consistent high achiever. In his current Solutions Architect role Jack has taken on more strategic development role overseeing all end to end aspects of client accounts. The majority of his portfolio of clients are based in Europe & US with a mix of some from around the globe.Jack has demonstrated a clear and proven ability to engage directly with clients and provides a “vision” of how the program can be optimized and run efficiently. This is achieved through a mixture of using appropriate technologies and a through understand of best process which has been gleaned from his over 15 years in the industry at various levels.
