- Placing trades with a wide range of onshore/offshore management companies via telephone, fax, EMX, Calastone & Fundsettle - Investigating stockbroker enquiries - Pricing & contracting executed orders - Completing application forms and other financial documents - Liasing with fund managers and their sales teams to agree terms - Overseeing that deals meet their deadlines with accurate share prices

Box Management Team (Book and Pricing) When an opportunity within the team arose, I was selected internally by the team manager to assist in overseeing the strict daily price file submissions and management company box decision calculations. This was due to how I carried out my responsibilities whilst working in Distributor Services, when liaising with our book and pricing team daily. • Overseeing a daily checklist to make sure the box was correct for when the management companies completed their calculations for the day.• Placing trades in the system to balance the box when advised by the fund manager.• Liaising with the distributor services, telephone dealing, postal dealing and deal amends team on a daily basis to make sure everything was 100% correct before decisions were made. • Helping with fund closures and fund launch projects. • Sending daily decision files to management companies detailing fund cash flow positions. • Completion of in-specie/share exchange decisions. • Assisting with box distortions if required. Distributor Services Team After a short period working in Telephone Dealing, I was approached by the manager of Distributor Services who internally recruited me. This was a specialist team which dealt with a select group of nominees. This helped me build relationships with management companies, institutional platforms, stock brokers and various teams internally at IFDS. • Placing telephone deals with specific wealth/investment companies. • Placing fax deals. • Dealing with enquiries for investment companies and management companies. • Regulating deals so that they met strict deadlines for dealing cut off points. • Communicating with our box management team (making sure deals were placed correctly and in a timely fashion to meet SLA’s). • Helping with EMX online trading system.• Creating breaches and deal amends to correct work in the team.
