Graduated from Tallaght University Dublin in May 2023 and moved to Vancouver BC to pursue a career in Sustainable Energy Engineering. My experience is limited within the engineering industry as I immigrated directly after I completed my studies in Dublin, Ireland. However, what I lack in field work I make up for in drive, determination and passion for my chosen area of study. During my studies in Ireland I was able to acquire and develop skills that are an integral part of being an engineer. Such skills include writing & research, communication, data analytics, technology, project management and many more. I was also very fortunate to have the opportunity to study in one of the most prestigious applied sciences universities in Europe for a semester in Upper Austria (FH Oberösterreich). Studying in Austria allowed me to gain a better insight into the challenges the sustainable energy sector faces whilst providing us with the tools necessary to overcome these issues so that we can continue to transition our economies into becoming less reliant on the burning of fossil fuels so that we may accommodate our ever-growing energy demands in order to provide power to our expanding industries.My goal is to apply my work ethic and passion in Canada and to do what I believe is my part in helping our economies become carbon free so that we may leave the world in a better place for future generations to come.
