Jack Doris is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist with years of experience performing live in all different genres. Having been a member in multiple bands, Doris has released music on all streaming services. With influences from the East Bay, early rocknroll, and theatre, songs penned by Jack are fast to the point and use clever lyricism to address the stigma surrounding mental health. Growing up playing Clarinet in concert bands and orchestras Doris was introduced to western musical styles from all over the world. His passion for music led him to becoming proficient in multiple instruments like guitar and piano from a young age. Punk rock has always been home for Jack and he was able to put all his interests to use as the bass player in the dance punk group Sterling And The Birdwatchers. The steady, solid low end and melodic fuzzed out bass lines along with Doris’ unmatched energy was the glue that made Sterling and the Birdwatchers a great band. Mr. Doris’ new project is called Beverley and they are preparing to release a full length concept album as their first studio LP. Little has been said yet about the upcoming album, however one critic who was lucky enough to listen describe it as having “angry teenage energy with a mature understanding of the universe”.
