My role as Head of Domestic Services encompasses various roles from conception to completion of all of the domestic projects with regards to the following systems GSHP, ASHP, WSHP, PV Systems, UFH and MVHR installations. Within my role I provide leadership in identifying, specifying and quoting new domestic opportunities, supporting the sales process through to solutions development, I participate in all presentations and consultation meetings, I employ and manage an engineering team capable of delivering domestic installations of heat pumps, ensuring the team are trained and competent to complete the works. This includes taking ownership of the full lifecycle of the domestic installations, including financial, operational, QHSE and commercial services whilst ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. I ensure that the provision of healthy and safe working conditions are acceptable and that both clients and company health and safety policy and processes are effectively implemented across both company and subcontractors activities, this includes identifying, reducing and managing all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project. Commencing my employment straight away I then enrolled at the city of Wolverhampton college and set about gaining all available qualifications (level 3 NVQ) by both studying at college and working onsite for Eclipse gaining every accreditation that was available within my field of expertise and therefore gaining vital hands-on experience in the domestic new build plumbing and heating sector.Eclipse plumbing and heating were a preferred installer of plumbing and heating systems to large house building company's including Taylor Wimpey, Selbourne homes and Cameron homes to name a few, meaning I worked on an array of sites gaining invaluable experience in the health and safety aspect of site work whilst experiencing large building sites and learning how they operated.
