Work in Youthnet’s Behavioral Rehabilitation Services division to provide recreation and mentoring to foster children with trauma related needs. Supervise family visits. Trained in the Relational, Integrative, Supportive, Experiences (RISE) method and in deescalation skills.

Work in a Wrap Around system of support as part of a Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) support team that helps manage challenging behaviors and identify behaviors that are normal vs trauma based. Carry a caseload of 4-6 young people and their families (including foster and often biological families) out of the approximately 25 young people in the Therapeutic Foster Care program at any one time (case loads are intentionally low due to the intensity of services).Facilitate monthly case meetings that include other supports in children’s lives, including doctors, teachers, therapists, and social workers.Develop annual case plans to identify short- and long-term goals; assist the child/youth and family to obtain resources and services to meet the goals. Examples include, locating housing; arranging therapy/counseling, after school activities, and other services; and working closely with schools, including attending IEP meetings.Serve 24/7 on-call duty up to seven days per month.Coordinate case aid activities with young people in my caseload.Continue to provide some case aid activities described below.
