My main duty throughout this role is to advise and assist customers through their scheme journey from start to finish; ensuring high quality customer service and experience whilst working closely within a busy team. I have learnt excellent communication and teamwork skills from completing everyday tasks within this position, which focuses mostly around customer service and IBD Account Management such as:Customer service- Receiving large volumes of calls ranging 600-700 calls per day during peak season from a variety of people including employees, employers, Halfords Bike Hut colleagues, Cycle suppliers and general Cycle2Work enquiries - Calls also including allocation of vouchers to special orders allowing customer to use suppliers in the Cycle2Work supplier network- Helping scheme members with their registration, processing an application and checking the status of an application - Dealing with customer complaints on a case by case basis, using resources from bike specialists, scheme managers and other helpdesk advisors to come to a prompt and appropriate resolution. - Supporting Halfords stores with a variety of issues including vouchers, customer complaints and queries directly related to the Halfords Cycle2Work scheme. - Replying promptly to customer email enquiries within a promised 24-hour time frameIBD Account Manager - Liaising with Independent Cycle suppliers about the prospective of joining the Halfords Cycle2Work independent supplier network to allow customers to choose brands that are not obtainable through Halfords, Cycle Republic or Tredz/Wheelies which includes brands such as Ribble, Trek & Brompton. - Maintaining relationships with the over 860 independent cycle shops

Providing a high standard of customer service via telephone and email, dealing with customers effectively providing solutions for any queries raised. As part of the service team, I received telephone calls from customers regarding equipment breakdowns and it was my priority to coordinate engineers to attend site within an agreed four hours’ response time. To provide comprehensive customer service it required working effectively as a team alongside engineers, senior technicians and other departments within Translift Bendi, as well as being able to work independently providing quotes for repairs and responding to customers with an estimated arrival times for an engineer.
