I spent just over 30 years on active duty with the U. S. Coast Guard. At retirement I was a W-4 Chief Warrant Officer with a finance & supply specialty. During my time with the Coast Guard I served in the Ceremonial Honor Guard in Washington, DC, was a storekeeper (finance & supply specialist) aboard three ships, a recruiter, supervisor of a pay & travel office with 10 storekeepers and 3 civilian employees, Chief of Customer Service at the Coast Guard Aviation Repair & Supply Center in Elizabeth City, NC, Comptroller & Law Enforcement/ Intelligence Officer at USCG Group Southwest Harbor, ME, and Chief of a procurement office in Alaska.Since retiring from the Coast Guard I have been a supervisor/procurement officer for three State of Alaska agencies, the Department of Education, Department of Administration, and Department of CorrectionsSpecialties: Finance and supply management, procurement, accounting, budgeting.
