As the Events Coordinator at St Mary's University I am in charge of organising and coordinating St Mary's major student union events from Varsity and Sports Dinners to our Summer Ball and Freshers.Events range from virtual to in person and host 50-2000 attendees. I also maintain and nurture our current partnerships with external organisations as well as source new opportunities to collaborate where applicable. I work closely with marketing to promote our events and support the student body to ensure they have full access to a rich and fulfilling student experience during their study.

We work with public sector organisations to modernise technology and accelerate digital delivery so that citizens can benefit from better public services.As the Events Coordinator for Made Tech, I have been responsible for researching, identifying, corresponding and securing sponsorships with third party events focussed on public sector technology and service design. Most recently we have sponsored and spoken at events such as Digital Leaders Week, GovX Digital and The Leeds Digital Festival.My role is also to organise and host our own events. Most notably I put together and presented our company's first webinar series "Made Tech Talks". These events are designed to educate and inform our audiences about our methodologies and case studies from working alongside organisations such as the Ministry of Justice, Department for Education and the NHS.I am also responsible for our events’ marketing and promotion, from designing our event’s landing and registration pages to all comms with potential attendees and driving lead generation. Working at Made Tech has trained me well in working closely within a team and reaching targets both efficiently and effectively.
