About Jack Henshaw
As a data scientist with a PhD in particle physics, I have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistics, as well as hands-on experience in coding and simulation. I am passionate about finding insights from data and solving complex problems with innovative solutions.I recently completed my doctoral research at the University of Birmingham, where I designed a new detector for the NA62 experiment through simulations, improved the software frameworks written in C++, and collaborated internationally on the analysis of a rare decay mode. I also taught Python to over 200 physics undergraduates and developed online educational materials for them. I am actively looking for a full-time role as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer, where I can apply my skills and knowledge to real-world challenges and contribute to the success of the organization.

- Noted inefficiencies in the K+ → π+νν analysis at the NA62 experiment and rectified by suggesting a reduction in the beam intensity resulting in 10% more signal events.
