Hello!My name is Jack Howson and I am a final-year law student enrolled on the LLB course at the 'University of Leicester'. During my time at the university, I competed in the 'University of Leicester Client Interviewing Competition' reaching the semi-finals with my partner. Further, I have a keen and avid interest in the law with a wide passion and knowledge. I am seeking to expand this to pursue a successful career as a solicitor at a large city law firm. As an aspiring solicitor, I have varying qualities that suit me well for this role including excellent communication and teamwork capabilities with the ability to meet strict deadlines, a concise yet detailed approach to problem scenarios and problems, as reflected in assessments and tutorials as well as the ability to think on my feet and provide quick solutions to unexpected issues. In addition to my academic skills I have a keen interest in debating and various sports such as field hockey (national finalist) and multiple motorsports such as Formula 1. Similarly, when I'm not studying at university you can find me out on a walk in the surrounding countryside or working on my passion as an amateur mechanic.
