Passionate about leveraging meteorology to enhance forecasting accuracy and decision-making, I bring extensive experience as a Development Meteorologist at the Aviation Weather Center. In my role within the Aviation Support Branch, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising development meteorologists, web programmers, and IT support specialists.My responsibilities span the full development lifecycle of aviation weather products, encompassing design, testing, maintenance, and user support. By facilitating the seamless transition of research findings into operational solutions, I ensure that aviation forecasters have access to cutting-edge tools for informed decision-making.Central to my approach is a user-centric mindset, driving me to continuously explore ways to tailor weather support services to the specific needs of end-users. Through proficiency in Python, data visualization, project coordination, and product testing, I strive to deliver solutions that optimize operational efficiency and improve forecasting accuracy.Drawing from previous research experiences, notably my M.S. Thesis at Saint Louis University, where I investigated system-relative approaches to identifying synoptic patterns conducive to tornado outbreaks in the Midwest, I have honed my expertise in high-impact weather events.
