I served as the Director of Evangelization and Communications and played a crucial role in managing and coordinating the advertising of ministry, liturgical, and faith formation activities of the parish. I oversaw all internal and external communications and public relations. I led a team of volunteers for technology and communication needs, scheduled and led regular ministry leader meetings, and coordinated with faith formation staff. I developed a communication plan to be used by all staff and ministries, and managed the parish website, social media accounts, and produced livestreams of services and events. Additionally, I created marketing materials, compiled and edited the weekly church bulletin, and promoted parish-wide events in local media publications. Proficiency in various software and computer programs, such as V-mix Broadcast production software, Clideo Video Editing software, and Canva, was crucial for performing these responsibilities.

After completing my mission in Australia, I joined the team mid-year as a Team Leader to assist with personnel changes in a 12-member team. Our primary ministry was to youth in eight Southern US states. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our year was unexpectedly cut short in March.

As a co-leader of a 5-member NET team, I led a mission to 4 Catholic Churches in Bundaberg, Queensland. Our focus was on Junior/Primary students (grades 4-8) and Senior levels (students in grades 9-12) with the goal of encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus through active participation in parish liturgy and life. Additionally, I prioritized addressing the spiritual and personal needs of each team member and maintaining regular contact with the NET central office to report progress and difficulties.

For my summer 2018 assignment, I was a member of the Totus Tuus summer program, a Catholic youth program focused on evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. The program aimed to supplement the work parents and parishes were doing in evangelizing and catechizing their youth. We followed a methodology, structure, and content that not only taught the faith but also ignited the hearts of the team members and young people.As the leader, I conducted the program in the spirit of traditional Vacation Bible School, bringing young people closer to Christ through the Sacraments, prayer, and fun. Our team of three young adults successfully led over 250 youngsters in two sections: Grades 1-6 during the day and Middle and High School in the evenings. Our ministry included instruction, prayer, games, and individual and small group sessions.

As a co-leader of a 12-member team, my primary responsibility was to minister to youth in 18 states across the country by leading retreats and events that brought groups and individuals closer to Jesus Christ. I worked to ensure the spiritual and temporal well-being of each team member and maintained regular contact with the NET office in Minneapolis. Additionally, I tended to the team's vehicle and trailer and made advance contact with pastors, youth ministers, and school administrators to confirm schedules and other ministry needs. I prepared a schedule using Google Calendar to keep the team organized and acted as a liaison between national headquarters, parish and diocese contacts, and the team. I mediated conflict and provided prayer and administrative advice to uphold organizational policies and procedures, as well as NET policies and moral obligations.
