Completed a 5 month internship with the rapidly expanding Parkpnp as a Junior Developer. Developing app features in Ruby within the Ruby on Rails framework, in an Agile work environment.Parkpnp is one of Europe's fastest growing parking apps, matching under-utilised parking spaces with drivers to solve the global parking crisis. One space at a time. One city at a time.I learned Ruby and Ruby on Rails under guidance of the company’s CTO, wrote RSPEC unit tests for the Parkpnp code base, making small fixes and maintenance changes. Worked in a team of three developers in an agile working environment with daily scrums. At BridgeWeb I made, designed and edited websites using WordPress or make from scratch using HTML CSS and JavaScript, while making sure to pay special attention to the design and user experience. I optimised websites for search engine listings (SEO), and as part of my role drove traffic towards clients websites via social media marketing, through Google AdWords or using a similar tool. Often have to manage servers and set up emails for domains.
