This involved constructing comprehensive datasets through BigQuery and other big data platforms like Splunk. Additionally, I utilised Python scripting and relevant data packages like Pandas to integrate Google Analytics with backend logs from Elasticsearch via Kibana. The culmination of these efforts was the development of data visualisation dashboards using Google Data Studio, which directly influenced business decisions.▶ UX/UI Design:Created functional prototypes using Figma to help motivate future implementations to ITVX. Researched, discussed and presented designs to wider team, developing on feedback and improving on deliverables. Presented designs to a focus group of users, building a market research campaign covering different UX concepts.▶ Common Platform (Platform Engineering/DevOps): I successfully completed extensive training encompassing Linux BASH Scripting, AWS cloud fundamentals, Kubernetes, and Terraform programming. These skills were effectively applied in granting access requests to users and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of infrastructure.▶ Behavioural Data Engineering:Developed knowledge pertaining to enterprise data structures and pipelines. Gained experience using Python and Matillion ETL.▶ Software Development (Content Platform):Developed backend infrastructure using Scala programming and software engineering techniques, specifically working on Search functionality on ITVX. As well as using Scala, I also gained experience using Tagless Final Pattern and Cats implicits.▶ Cyber Security:Defined correlation searches in Splunk using SPL to flag suspicious behaviour both internally and externally. This included a tool to convert large zipped raw data in CSV format into a usable form, fitted with a robust error checking system.▶ Facilitated sessions on how to use Linux to complete a specific task whilst constructing an in-depth training manual.▶ Organised LGBT-themed events and produced informative material for large audiences during the history and pride months.
