As a Compliance Intern at SMBC BI, I gained valuable insights into the banking industry and regulatory landscape. I analysed Key Risk Indicators, prepared reports, contributed to public/private reviews and worked on the automation of Compliance processes. My role cultivated strong communication, presentation, and decision-making skills, showcased by delivering high-quality, detail-orientated work within tight deadlines and dynamic scenarios.Currently pursuing an Economics degree at Nottingham Trent University, expected to graduate in June 2025. My interest lies in applying economic theories to real-world challenges. I excelled in the Nottingham Trent Enterprise Challenge 2023, collaborating on a business idea, achieving certification from the Institute of Directors. This experience honed my creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills.Eager to embark on a financial sector career, I aim to apply academic knowledge and practical skills to enhance organisational success and societal impact.
