I sit on NCCA Council at State Board level, nominated by the Minister for Education under SI 205 OF 2022

A Partner on the Department for Education's Senior Cycle Partners' Forum, established by Minister Foley, representing students on the group. This is a representative stakeholder engagement group that underpins the collaboration necessary to support implementation and, where appropriate, further developments under the Senior Cycle redevelopment programme announced by Minister Foley.

The Advisory Group on Planning for State Examinations, in continuance of its initial advisory role in the planning for the 2020 state examinations, advises the Minister for Education and the Department for Education on key issues regarding the running of the State ExaminationsThe group:- recognises the intention of the Minister and the State Examinations Commission (SEC) to run the state examinations as close to normal as possible, taking account of public health advice, with appropriate contingency arrangements in place;- advise the Minister and the State Examinations Commission (SEC) in relation to arrangements for the state examinations and any consequential actions, drawing where appropriate on the experiences and lessons learned from advising on the 2020 examinations, and drawing on relevant research where possible;- assists with the dissemination of information

I have been appointed as a member of the TikTok Global Council representing Ireland. TikTok have formed a Global Council which is made up of young people from around the world. With its mission to inspire creativity and bring joy, TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms amongst our generation and the world’s leading social media platform for creating and sharing short form video. The Council will advise and review TikTok products and policies, striving to build the safest online community possible.

Advising the Ombudsman for Children's Office (OCO) on day-to-day decisions concerning children. We contribute to organising events, reveiwing material, and anything else deemed necassary. We advise the OCO on an ongoing basis about emerging issues and concerns for young people. YAP members also have the opportunity to highlight both our own concerns and the views of other children.There are 18 members on the inclusive panel aged 12 – 17 and we all come from across the country.

Administrative Officer working in a large retail store group Head OfficeI oversee and operate in key areas of the company, including but not limited to:Training - I develop new training for staff, constantly reviewing current training to ensure it is up to industry standard. I ensure Junior Management is implementing training in all three department across five sites. I review over 150 employee's training to ensure all is up to date and identify room for improvement.Onboarding - I operate onboardings for the company, ensuring a high quality of inductions to new hires.Cash Management - I ensure our sites balance daily to maximise the companies margins.General Administrative Duties - I ensure emails are swiftly responded to and assist employees and Junior Management in any issues there may be. I assist Junior Management with their duties when needed. I carry out any tasks delegated to me by the General Manager or by any Directors, to ensure the smooth running of the administration of the company. I also assist on sites occasionally in a managerial role when needed.

As an Action Panel Member for the Southwest Region I am responsible for:Offering opinion and creating content for the website, working on gathering momentum for spunout campaigns and events while promoting spunout locally, acting as an ambassador for spunout, being part of spunout campaigns and empowering other young people through these campaigns, assisting and representing spunout at festivals and events, consulting on branding decisions, being involved in lobbying, engaging with public representatives and talking to other media and organisation, and taking part in regular Zoom calls with spunout staff.

In my role as Education Officer, I'm responsible for the promotion of the students perspective in regards to the education they receive. This role is largely policy and representative based, ensuring the voice of students is listened to in the form of education they receive. Every day varies, but some typical tasks that I complete are:Writing policy documents on behalf of the ISSU with regard to educational mattersAttending events and consultations with regard to the educational sector.Making formal submissions on behalf of the ISSU to educational bodies. Organise consultations with member students on educational issues. Leads ISSU’s Education policy and represents the ISSU on education related issues andsubmissions.Producing student council resources related to education campaigns.
