Over the last few years, I have worked as an agile member of the fast-moving Marketing Communications team at national law firm VWV. Tasks were extremely varied from day to day, enabling me to gain valuable experience with tasks such as:- creating eye-catching marketing materials using Adobe InDesign and ensuring consistency throughout- monitoring and posting easily digestible, catchy posts on the firm's wide range of social media channels- proofreading complex legal articles on a regular basis and improving the readability and SEO of content, and condensing these into easy-to-understand social media posts to drive engagement- designing email and presentation assets and templates for a new product with its own distinct branding, ensuring consistency across materials in accordance with brand/formatting guidelines- managing client accounts for our various portals, and providing technical support with login issues when required- drafting press releases and award submissions for a variety of areas within the firm- rapidly proofreading and publishing legal content on the company's website and online portals to keep clients up to date on coronavirus guidance- extracting data from the client database, Google Analytics, email campaigns, and social media channels, and producing reports and interpreting the data to provide actionable insightsIn my previous role as a marketing admin assistant for a national car club operator, my tasks started off with a variety of administrative duties, including managing customer databases, but quickly grew to include more specialised skills such as data analysis and managing the company's PPC campaigns on Google AdWords.I was responsible for collating, analysing, and reporting data from various sources, including our own databases, Google AdWords, and external surveys, and providing this data for the marketing manager and commercial director, for use with current and future marketing activity. This allowed them to make informed, data-driven business decisions to improve the company's service.Outside of work, I am a video game enthusiast who dreams of one day working within the industry alongside like-minded professionals. I can often be found exploring new worlds and experiences in an ever-growing collection of video games, or attempting to learn to play the electric/bass guitar.
