Monthly bookkeeping & VAT returns, and temporarily working the payroll team to produce weekly and monthly payrolls.

Basic bookkeeping work using VT Transaction+, running payrolls and general admin.

During my work experience here, I encountered a lot of different tasks. I mainly helped people on the computers to set up their claims. This included homeless people and others who do not have regular access to technology, people that struggled to read and people who's first language wasn't English.I also helped a lot of the staff members with their projects such as creating a PowerPoint to address the homelessness in Southend and helping out with staff training which covered Microsoft Word and Outlook. Every morning, I would do job searching using a variety of different websites and create a simple word document listing all of the opportunities available in the local area for people who came in to read.
