Since the age of 18 years old I have worked in education industry with primary and now secondary school children. My early experiences have been in outdoor education and secondary school, helping children with wellbeing and behavioural needs and concerns. Over the years my knowledge and understanding has increased tremendously resulting in me completing a counselling course.I consider myself to be extremely approachable and through the use of empathy find that most people I work with improve themselves through simply having a person they feel they can trust, respect and engage in conversation with.My interest in mental health and the growing amount of need being presented especially in young people has also been key to me being able to assist and signpost people for further support.My passion to be a role model for the younger generation is huge part of both me personally and professionally.
