CurrentAs a Landscape Architect/Urban Designer/New Town Planner, it is my desire to contribute to Chattanooga’s Government/Public/Developer and University efforts toward the development of “this world-class city.” My past focus included:• Town center redevelopment schemes and mixed-use urban infill projects• New-town master planning• Public realm design and development• Hospitality, tourism, and leisure industriesI am highly vested in strategic concept initiation & development, and my 5 years as a Disney Imagineer in Paris reinforced the goals of unique design solutions within budget, on schedule, based on a strong a ‘design…to build…to own’ mentality.Qualifications and core competencies include:• Master's Degree from Harvard University - Graduate School of Design (Real Estate Design & Development) with classes at the MIT Sloan School of Real Estate Development• Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA., and undergraduate studies in Industrial Design at CSULB• thematic urban place-making, resort master planning, landscape architecture • an ability to coordinate complex project teams and liaise effectively with JV partners, consultants, and the public• design and project management of small to large projects, including master plans for sizable New Towns such as the 70,000ac Santa Margarita Co. in Orange County, CA and 5,000 ac. Euro Disney • a personal portfolio of work that demonstrates excellent design and graphic capabilities• strong written and verbal communication skills • professional licensure in landscape architecture in Florida
