Hi! I'm a recent graduate of UBC's Combined Honours Physics & Computer Science program and currently I am in the Master's of Applied Computing program at U of T with a specialization in Quantum Computing. Although my passion is for quantum computing, I also have experience with web development, AI engineering, and theoretical nuclear physics research from several different internships.I began my post-secondary life studying Kinesiology at Capilano University. Having been an athlete all my life, I really enjoyed learning about the science behind the human body - but at the same time, I fell in love with the math, physics, and chemistry courses I took. When I transferred to UBC, I knew I would be shifting my major to physics, and eventually I added computer science to that.Since then, I've had the opportunity to gain experience in many different fields, both through courses and internships. From creating AI models to writing research papers in quantum computing, these experiences have made me want to contribute to scientific research, and with my interest in both the quantum nature of the world we live in and computers, quantum computing is the natural field for me to get into, and I'm eager to contribute to this up and coming tech!I'm looking for an internship starting in May 2024 involving research in some aspect of quantum computing - whether it's hardware, algorithms, or something else, I'm interested!
