As Lead Intern, I supervised a team of 12-15 interns and delegated tasks related to poster design, website maintenance, social media, and film editing. I also organized and conducted training sessions relating to software programs, event coordination, journalism, and social media. I communicated with event co-sponsors, interacted with high-profile guests, and introduced speakers. I also served as the head of the Global Voices Journalism Team, which produced long-form promotional content for our events. I assigned articles to members of the team and guided them through the writing process. I also secured interviews with visiting speakers and acted as a liaison to the local newspaper, The Hyde Park Herald.

I was an Arts Contributor for the Chicago Maroon. I reviewed classical music events on- and off-campus. I had the opportunity to interview world-renowned violinist, In Mo Yang and review an ECM album featuring Andràs Schiff. I previously served as a News Staff Writer for the Maroon

I identified, researched, and annotated digitized 78rpm records from early 20th-century Russia and Soviet Union. I wrote a report summarizing my findings and highlighting notable records. I also catalogued compact discs of contemporary music using proprietary cataloguing guidelines and assisted with day-to-day archival tasks, such as sorting through shipments of records.

I work mostly in the strings department, but I also assist with the jazz band and chamber music programs. The program's goal - and therefore, mine as well - is to improve the students' general playing abilities and to prepare them for their performance.
