Hello, I’m Jack, a recent honors graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where I double-majored in Government and History, minored in French, and earned a certificate in Core Texts and Ideas. I’m preparing to attend law school to pursue a career in constitutional and international law, where I hope to tackle complex legal questions and theories that shape our society. My experiences have equipped me with strong research, analytical, and communication skills, whether through supporting complex legal cases at a family law firm or crafting legal arguments in my academic work. Outside of law, I have dedicated myself to studying and engaging with issues in foreign policy and political theory, particularly exploring the relationships between nationalism, power politics, and human rights. I am driven by a passion for understanding the intersection of law and society and using that knowledge to create practical solutions to pressing global and domestic challenges. When I put on the breaks and shift into a lower gear, I enjoy exploring U.S. National Parks, listening to mid-century French chansons, or admiring a particularly well-designed flag.
