CurrentThe Port of Prince Rupert is North America’s fastest growing Port for transpacific trade. Our mandate is to support Canada’s trade activity by facilitating and expanding the movement of cargo and passengers. To achieve this goal, PRPA administers a large geographic area that includes approximately 1000 hectares of federal crown land for terminal-related development, as well as an associated harbour and coastline. My role during this exciting period of growth and tremendous opportunity, for the Port, British Columbia and Canada, includes:- Directing the planning, assessment and permitting for the development of major marine terminals and supporting infrastructure- Leading public and First Nations consultation and engagement activities in support of Port developments- Carbon Planning and GHG reduction- Stewardship and Conservation
