-Responsible for development of electronics for specialized assistive robots to be used in NASA’s JPL and for home assistance. This included:->Design and assembly of PCBs including power distribution, microcontroller breakouts, low/mid-power motor control circuits, and various other peripheral circuits necessary for operation of the robots.->Component selection for PCB population as well as other electronic components.->Design and assembly of wiring.- Oversaw power consumption calculations, electromechanical calculations (in coordination with the mechanical team), and budget calculations.- Created documentation of electronic designs for use by the robotics team.- Coordinated closely with the software and mechanical team on numerous design aspects and acted as a communication channel between the teams.
