I am an accomplished Media educator with over 17 years of experience in the education sector, blending a strong foundation in media production with a passion for teaching. Currently, I serve as the Media Subject Lead for the Inicio Trust and also coordinate the PSHE/Personal Development programme at BWS Girls, where I champion holistic student growth alongside academic success.Education has always been at the core of my career. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Creative Industries from the University of Greenwich, which, combined with my industry experience, allows me to give students a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape and its profound influence on society.As a Media and Film Studies teacher, I strive to create dynamic, innovative curricula that inspire critical thinking and creativity. My commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies and industry practices ensures that my students develop both the technical skills and media literacy essential for success in the ever-evolving media world.In my leadership roles, I work to support both students and colleagues. As a PSHE/Personal Development Coordinator, I focus on equipping students with life skills that extend beyond the classroom, from wellbeing and careers guidance to diversity and self-confidence. My experience as a lead BTEC Digital Creative Media practitioner has also positioned me to mentor fellow educators and foster collaborative learning environments.
