As a Configuration Management Technician, I work to automate manual processes for internal IT operations and to enhance the end user experience. Some examples of automating manual processes includes 1) the configuration of automated application and patch deployment to servers and workstations, 2) the configuration of automated reports and notifications, using Powershell to leverage APIs to gather information from services and customize notifications to be sent out to the necessary parties, and 3) renovating previously inefficient or ineffective processes with new, more efficient automated processes.
