For 21 years, I served in the United States Air Force as a linguist, an analyst, a supervisor, a mentor, and a leader, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. During that time, I performed dozens of different duties in four different US states, Japan, and Afghanistan. I displayed a capacity for diligence and creativity while demonstrating a knack for mentorship and leadership during my two decades of service. Perhaps above all, I displayed flexibility as I graduated from three different foreign language programs at the Defense Language Institute, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin, and Persian Dari, and applied my skills in a wide variety of different occupations. More recently, I have decided to apply my experience and talents in the classroom. I decided to pursue a History degree with the aim of eventually teaching High School History. In pursuit of that goal, I completed an AA at the Comunity College of Baltimore County, a BA and MAT in history and Secondary Education, Social Studies At Loyola University Maryland, and an internship teaching Modern World History and Economics at the Baltimore Design School before beginning my teaching career at Cristo Rey Jesuit in Baltimore.
