- HR Business Partner to three Directors who are responsible for the UK’s future trading relationships with the European Union and the rest of the world.- Partnered with Directors and senior management teams across a range of HR activities including recruitment, workforce planning, talent and development, and performance management. - Coordinated and managed various recruitment campaigns to build future trade negotiation teams during a time of significant organisational growth. Responsible for onboarding of over 50 staff who took up junior policy positions. Managed a small team to match candidates to roles, issue offer letters and contracts, and process pre-employment checks and security clearances. - Worked as part of a team to resource the department’s EU Exit critical roles. Identified requirements with hiring managers and attended cross-departmental meetings to represent, and match volunteers into, trade policy requirements.- Managed an organisational restructure. - Led high profile projects attached to senior talent, performance and resourcing. - Coordinated recruitment campaigns to fill senior leadership positions across the department. Met with hiring managers to scope roles and confirm requirements, and managed relationship with in-house recruitment specialist once campaigns were live. Responsible for all campaign logistics which included scheduling assessments and interviews, and candidate onboarding.- Managed a small team which was responsible for the selection process for two corporate talent schemes. Oversaw processes that recruited 30 interviewers and interviewed 40 candidates over four weeks. Successfully increased the representation of individuals from diverse groups on both schemes. - Responsible for a budget which was used to fund places on two corporate talent schemes. Carried out cost analysis and scenario modelling to plan for expenditure, and to reduce risk of overspend. - Also responsible for a comprehensive programme of events; my work on these included drafting speeches for senior speakers, and confirming logistical arrangements (such as venues and catering).

- HR Business Partner to the department’s Chief Security Officer (CSO). - Coordinated multiple recruitment campaigns for senior positions across the security function (including physical security, personnel security and cyber security). - Designed HR based solutions to recruitment challenges. Designed and implemented a specialist pay allowance as part of attraction strategy attached to candidates with specialist skills. - Presented to senior managers on an array of HR based topics, including performance management, employee engagement and staff wellbeing.

- Used excellent communication skills to provide initial careers guidance to students. - Responsible for general office duties such as answering the telephone and managing the central inbox. - Lead for social media activity. I used creative skills to compose eye catching Tweets and Facebook posts which attracted the attention of students. - Worked with other teams within Employability and Graduate Development to assist in the planning and running of larger careers events, such as a Postgraduate Study Careers Fair.
