Major/O-4o Developed FAA Certificates of Authorization (COA) and coordinated agreements between regional air traffic control agencies and TN Air National Guard, airport use agreements, and chase aircraft operations for exercise Whiskey Fury. These efforts directly led to the first flight of an MQ-9 Reaper (Group 5 RPA) within the National Airspace System (NAS) in TN, and repeated safe operations from civilian and military airfields.o Conduct flight operations as pilot in command and mission commander in MQ-9 UAS.

o Participated in the DOD SkillBridge program for transitioning active-duty members in Aery’s Strategy Airborne Operations division.o Optimized the fuel invoice tracking by 50% for the entire organization through the implementation on new data sourcing mechanisms. o Managed 10 pilot training records audits and revisions ahead of government compliance inspections.

Directed international flight operations in P-3C and P-8A(Boeing 737 variant) Maritime Patrol aircraft. Additional responsibilities include:o Mission Commander: Entrusted with the proper and lawful execution of international military flight operations of Combat Aircrew Eleven (CAC-11) including Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW), and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Responsible for ensuring mission tasking was executed successfully and within the bounds of Commanders Guidance while operating in close proximity to politically sensitive areas.o Patrol Plane Commander: Responsible for the safe operation of P-8A aircraft and a crew of 9 during domestic and international flight operations. These operations range from pilot proficiency events, long range logistics, and maritime patrol tactical operations.o Instructor Pilot: Instructed 150 Naval Aviators throughout every phase on the Maritime piloting process, from junior Pilots to Aircraft Commanders, Level 300 Tacticians, as well as the upgrading process in the P-8A. Instruction conducted in both aircraft and full motion Level D style simulator.o Instructor AVO: Conducted professional instruction for 120 second tour Naval Aviators on the policies, procedures, and techniques of Unmanned Air Vehicle operations. Simulator based instruction with actual UAS operational experience.o Crew Resource Management (CRM) Instructor: Conducted quarterly CRM training for over 200 P-8A and MQ-4C aircrew including classroom and in aircraft training. Trained and qualified CRM facilitators in the fundamentals of CRM, and techniques for effectively conducting CRM training.

o Led 21 Admin professionals responsible for the timely and accurate execution of administrative processes for nearly 800 Air Department personnel aboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN 69). o Ensured the safe and efficient launch and recovery of 6 types of Naval aircraft on board Nimitz Class aircraft carriers.

o Chief of Safety for 2 Maritime Patrol Squadrons, 21 P-8A aircraft, and over 1,000 aircrew and maintainers, Lead Investigator for Aircraft Mishap Investigation, and Principal Advisor to senior leaders on all aviation safety matters.o Established and managed aviation safety management programs, including: Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) reporting and analysis, Operational Risk Management, Crew Resource Management, and safety culture workshops. o Conducted 24 aviation safety council meetings, 12 Hazard Reports, seven human factors boards and/or councils, and five safety stand down conferences.

o Managed MQ-4C Pilot/Air Vehicle Operator (AVO) syllabus and training; trained 40 students and 11 Instructor Pilots.o Conducted three major syllabus revisions and implementations, ensuring training remained accurate and pertinent.

o Principal Liaison between Navy planners, FAA officials, and airfield management teams for establishing and expanding MQ-4 UAS operations within the National Airspace System (NAS). o Developed and maintained four FAA Certificates of Authorization (COA), establishing a waiver for FAR 91.113 "see and avoid" requirements for large UAS operations within the NAS, and 11 airfield use agreements, consisting of site surveys and operational risk analysis with airfield proponents.

o Led three Auditors conducting audits of CRM programs across all 3 USN UAS Squadrons and Organizations. o Ensured the proper manning and training of CRM Facilitators and Instructors for a team of 15.

o Led seven sailors and one Senior Chief Petty Officer conducting procedural audits of the maintenance department and quality assurance program management for seven P-8A aircraft.o Successfully completed an Operational Readiness Evaluation, ensuring the maintenance department remained qualified to support all P-8A aircraft into deployment operations

o Designed and delivered a new Instrument Flight Program for the Squadron during a major platform transition by establishing the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) processes/procedures. o Led team of three responsible for the on-time distribution of critical safety of flight publications.o Maintained flight records for all aircrew with zero discrepancies.

o Managed and delivered Ground Safety programs for 300 Squadron members, including: Hearing Conservation, Motorcycle Safety, First Aid/CPR, Hazardous Weather, Fire Regulations, NAVOSH, FOD Prevention, and Respiratory Prevention programs.o Planned and executed three safety stand down conferences, and an Operational Stress Control (OSC) training for the entire organization.
